While visiting Devon for a wedding in February, I came across this fantastic specimen of a 1937 Daimler "Straight Eight"
It was on wedding duty later that day, but unfortunately, not the one I was attending. Chatting to the owner I discovered he had a further 9 cars, all vintage Rolls Royces!

Note Union Jack mascot:
The car was in a beautifully restored condition and the all-aluminum body had been resprayed two-tone grey, American style, instead of its original black.
The dash was immaculate walnut and the interior was generally perfect although showing some signs of use. There was even a small intercom unit between the occupant and the driver, which was presently being restored to working order.
My favourite feature was an intriguing drawer under the front passenger seat which contained the tool box - I wish I had snapped that, as well!
